Welcome to the official website for the coffee table book “Beyond Sugar” (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our website, www.beyond-sugar.com (the “Site”) or making a purchase, you warrant that you have read, and agree to be bound by, these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, including any amendment, addendum, modification, annex, supplement or update thereon (collectively, the “Terms”).

1.1 These Terms govern your use of our Site and the purchase of the “Beyond Sugar” book (the “Product”).

1.2 By accessing our Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or if you are younger than 18 years old, you have secured the consent of a parent or legal guardian for you to access our Site and/or make a purchase.

2.1 All orders placed through our Site are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to Product availability, errors in the description or price of the Product, or any other issue identified by our team.

2.2 Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email serves as a confirmation that we have received your order but does not signify our acceptance of your order.

2.3 Our acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the Product to you.

3.1 All prices displayed on the Site are in Philippine Peso and are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.

3.2 We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order was placed.

3.3 Payment must be made at the time of ordering through our accepted payment methods. By using any of the accepted payment methods, you acknowledge that you are subject to the terms and conditions, technical and platform limitations, and the privacy policy/notice of the payment method, and that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions and privacy policies.  We are not responsible, and do not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, omissions, products of the payment method and/or its third party service providers.

4.1 We aim to process and ship orders within 5 business days of receiving your order. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and other factors beyond our control.

4.2 Shipping costs will be added to your order total and will be displayed at checkout. Shipping costs displayed on the Site are in ₱ (Philippine Peso) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change the price of shipping costs at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order was placed.

4.3 You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery details provided by you.

5.1 All content on the Site and the Product, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and  design is the property of Chen’s Artworks Publishing House and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

5.2 You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of the content from the Site or the Product without our prior written consent.

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chen’s Artworks Publishing House shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site or the Product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

8.1 We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice to you. Changes will be posted on the Site, and your continued use of the Site after such changes have been posted will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.
